One of my goals for this redesign was to make the weather information easily accessible and readable from different devices. To do this, I redesigned the landing page and developed it in a responsive fashion so that the page can be viewed from different devices. I also designed different user interface elements, including reusable modules for weather conditions and a new set of icons.
I was also successful in adding functionalities which not only incorporated current events that are tailored to user's preferred location, but offered activities in that location that the client can enjoy, which are based on the current weather forecast, ie. skiing in snowy mountains or spending a day at the beach on a warm day.
The process started with a simple sketch with pen and paper, trying to get the feel of element arrangement. I also made custom icons for the entire interface.

Before going into designing the mobile and desktop page I wanted to tackle some of the elements that would be used on the page, like navigating through weather forecast, weather icons, temperature popups etc.
